ETFE FOIL

WHAT IS ETFE FOIL?
It is a plastic film based on fluorine (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene). This material is transparent, light, flexible and characterized by high durability.
Compared to structures covered with glass, it is several dozen times lighter. It is resistant to UV radiation, extreme temperature changes and harsh chemical conditions. ETFE foil does not deteriorate due to environmental pollution and is self-cleaning due to its low coefficient of friction under the influence of atmospheric precipitation. This material is recyclable, so it is less harmful to the environment.
WHERE IS IT USED?
ETFE foil transmits UV radiation, so it is used in botanical facilities, zoological pavilions and recreational water facilities.
ETFE foil can be used instead of PVC membrane in pneumatic and membrane structures. By combining several layers of foil and introducing compressed air between them, you can obtain a pillow that has thermal insulation properties. Such pillows can be used as skylights or building facades.

APPEARANCE OF ETFE FOIL
The basic version of the foil is transparent. It is possible to print various patterns to reduce the amount of light transmitted. During production, you can also add pigment to color the foil in a selected color.
